Market Day In Camucia

Last week, we headed across the way to the town of Camucia for the weekly market held there on Thursday mornings. Parking wasn't too bad, because we got there pretty early. It can be tough later in the morning, for sure.

Just for fun, I started taking photos of all the various vendors. You can get all sorts of this and that at the markets here...not just veg!

Colorful socks...

....colorful veggies!

Carpets of all kinds.

Vegetable starts for the garden.

Vegetables for the kitchen.
The bell peppers here are huge, btw.

Giant hunks of parmesan. Yum.

All types and ages of pecorino, which is made from sheep's milk.

All kinds of clothes for women, men and kids.
New, and used...

Shoes and slippers.
Johnny always buys his slippers at the market.

Colorful plants for the flower garden.

All the "unmentionables" that any one would need...

Men's clothes...

Women's tops and pants.

All kinds of fun pants!

Stuff for the kitchen. I like to poke around here.

More shoes...

And lots more veg.

Not my thing, but there's lots of this.

There are several cheese vendors at this market.

When it starts getting warmer, you can find some fun linen things!

Even everything for sewing, etc.

And last, but not least, beautiful dried statice flowers at the flower vendor's booth!

A little bit of market day fun for you!
Camucia is the village right below Cortona.
