Evening Walk...

  I'll admit…it was so f-ing cold this morning, we didn't want to go out and take our morning walk. We stayed in bed enjoying coffee and the sound of birds calling as the sun came up….well, it was up, but we couldn't see it for the cloud cover.

  All in all, a most pleasant morning in bed. Sigh. 

  We try to get in our early morning walks, but cold as it was, we just said the hell with it.

  Had a great day, and when late afternoon came around…say four o'clock-ish, we rousted ourselves from napping in front of the fire, and decided to take a late afternoon walk. 

  Sweet!

  The light is totally different, and we went for the 'Long Walk', which takes us to Paciano, and then down below, into the valley and back up the other side. A good, long hike…and at a most lovely time of day.

  Me thinks this will soon become a new habit!

  What a pleasure to take in all the local beauty at this time of day. We walked for about two hours, and enjoyed every minute, even though it was cold…the hike up warmed our bones, which helped!
