Paris, Continued....

There are certain 'giveaways' that let you know you are in Paris...
Like seeing this out the sitting room window:

Nortre Dame on the Seine is a pretty safe bet...

...or seeing your husband carrying this as he strolls by while you wait in a local cafe...

He's just so happy.

  Obvious, for sure.
But for me, the thing that reads 'Paris' more than anything else is the lovely architecture.
You know you are in Paris when:

I just love looking up at these beautiful buildings as we are walking from one museum to another.

The weather has been 'iffy' at best, but we have been able to get out and explore places we have never been, as well as a few old favorites.
We have walked miles in the last few days, just enjoying the scene.
Spring is just around the corner...

Cherry trees on a balcony!
I'm glad I was looking up.

Sun brings folks out.

An interesting tower and fragrant magnolia.

On Friday, we went by a flower market, and I was enchanted with the displays...

Seeing the food displays are pretty good, too...

We went to an antique market, just for fun, and I couldn't help taking a "Mirror Shot".

Today we are staying in for awhile. It's wicked weather, and we are exhausted from walking and jet-lag.
We'll visit a pal later, maybe have a relaxed stroll if it clears up. For now, I'm just enjoying being here and chilling out.

  More posts soon-
